O’Brien & Company is a high-end design/build company that builds some of the finest wine tasting rooms, breweries, and hotels—you feel like royalty entering their buildings.
O’Brien’s brand and website didn’t match their excellent work—they needed to refresh their logo and website. O’Brien & Company also needed a way for their architecture side of the business, Open Concepts, to fit within the O’Brien & Company brand. Open Concepts also needed to highlight its work in a distinct part of the website.
Pivot conducted research among O’Brien’s customer base and employees to understand their unique story. We refreshed their logo, a process that included a competitor color analysis and a reshaped logo mark emphasizing the letters OC in the white space. Pivot created customer-centric messaging and expanded the brand into the redesigned website. Pivoteers hit the road, traveling to 25 locations to capture photos and videos highlighting O’Brien’s work around Oregon. Our web team packaged and developed this content into a visually striking website that features unique icons, bold graphics and filterable content. Through careful user experience strategy and creative coding, Pivot gave Open Concepts its own branded space on the site. We were humbled and honored when the O’Brien website was awarded Best Website at the 2018 American Marketing Association MAX Awards.
Linguava is a language services company that handles thousands of translation and interpretation requests each month. A large portion of its business involves working with medical facilities to ensure foreign-language-speaking patients’ needs are met.
Linguava had dreams of expansion but a lackluster, dated website that didn’t suit its vision.
Working with Linguava’s vibrant brand colors, Pivot created a fresh new look for linguava.com that highlights the company’s fun, diverse, people-oriented culture. Custom icons and subtle animations give the site unique character, while strong calls-to-action emphasize the site’s primary goal: to drive referrals. Large, colorful photos from around the world are balanced with fun photos of its staff to keep the site grounded and relatable.
City Gospel Movements is a branch of the Luis Palau Association, a Christian evangelistic organization. CGM builds movements that unite the efforts of churches, local evangelists, and civic organizations in cities around the world.
Before coming to Pivot, CGM’s web presence was a single, simple page on the Palau website. CGM’s leader served as the primary point of contact for the organization’s vast network of affiliates. While he is generous with his time, the CGM team felt a more efficient way to share his experiences and resources was in order.
Pivot answered the call by creating a multifaceted website, which serves as a social network and informational hub for those in the gospel movement community. Its most powerful feature is an interactive map that lets users search for CGM affiliates in their area. Users can also browse through a library of articles related to the organization’s mission. Custom, hand-lettered headlines and bright colors gives the site a touch of warm personality while remaining professional.
