The Smart Rural Community Showcase Awards recognize broadband providers that are building stronger rural communities. This year, four Pivot clients took home top honors:
- Twin Lakes (Gainesboro, TN): Since 2020, its Difference Grant Program has awarded $480K+ to 104 local groups—boosting education, public safety, and community growth.
- West Carolina (Abbeville, SC): After Hurricane Helene, the co-op opened offices as community hubs and kept hospitals and emergency services online when it mattered most.
- Bulloch Solutions (Statesboro, GA): Built a redundant network for a new manufacturing facility and invests locally with literacy events, business expos, and career days.
- United Communications (Franklin, TN): Through Project UNITE, secured $110M+ in grants to expand broadband and power community-driven economic growth.
